MISSION
The
South Bay Area Women’s Caucus for Art (SBAWCA) is a chapter of the national Women’s Caucus for Art (WCA). It serves
the southern San Francisco Bay area of California. Our mission is to achieve equity for women in the visual
arts by providing exhibition opportunities, and education of our members and the community at large. Membership is open to
both women and men.
Our chapter consists of artists, teachers of art and art history, and art critics. Most artists join in order to
participate in exhibitions that we organize, to be included in our web site gallery, and to participate in a network of professional
artists. We are a 501(c)(3) organization
