Artist Statement:

In my artwork I create places and tell stories of cultural ideas that interest me.  A real place or a dreamed place becomes art.

The wonderful medieval walled cities of Croatia, France and Italy are wonderfully preserved and have a history and culture that makes them special.  To recreate the walls with depth and texture, I use spackle and house paint on canvas, with a little love.
