Artist statement

I devote my time to photographing the California landscape, its wildlife, and its architecture, believing that recording the state's natural and cultural heritage is the best contribution I can make to helping preserve it. Ongoing projects include the ghost town of Bodie, Victorian houses of Alameda, native wildflowers, marine wildlife, and the California missions.
